Jeff's Phoenix Tucano Turboprop

Phoenix model has developed an airplane so refined it flies on rail. The 60cc giant scale Tucano ARF was bought and shipped straight from the factory, with an idea of converting it into a real turboprop aircraft.

Kingtech turboprop K45TP might be a suitable candidate as a small number of RC enthusiasts around the world have already begun using engine brands like Wren Turbine for the conversion.

Within a month of converting and building ( build log here), I finally got her in the air! The video shows her in her 10th flight. This semi-aerobatic, scale plane can perform loops, rolls and stall turns precisely and very much easily. She cuts through the air like a dart - either slowly or fast!

Overall she is very predictable and pleasure to fly.
